About Cuyler Marie Romeo

Cuyler Marie Romeo OTR/L, MOT, OTR/L

Cuyler attended the University of Texas in Austin and the Health Science Center in San Antonio to complete her graduate degree in occupational therapy in 2003. As a top graduate she was granted a clinical fellowship in Memorial Hermann’s NICU at Houston Medical Center. It was there, where she discovered the joys of neonatal feeding and infant development.

After moving to Tucson in 2003, Cuyler continued learning the intricacies of infant feeding and child development at Tucson Medical Center while working as the lead feeding therapist on the in-patient pediatric floors and outpatient clinic. She then expanded her support of families to the home and community while providing services through the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities. Cuyler is certified in pediatric TAMO handling. Though Cuyler has taken many postgraduate courses and seminars in the area of pediatric feeding, she feels that the children and families with whom she has worked have been her greatest teachers. Her passion is evaluating and supporting medically fragile infants and children who have complicated swallowing challenges and helping them achieve mealtime enjoyment and safety.
